the Surface Pen DOES work on my HP Spectre x360 15-bl075nr - the $1,500 laptop. Connected with no problem, writes, etc. The only problem I have is that it is using the HP stylus software. I am searching on now on how to use the clicker at the end of the pen to open apps, etc.
Bluetooth is a wireless technology that enables connectivity between multiple electronic devices by utilizing a 2.4 GHz radio spectrum that has a range of approximately 30 feet. For vehicles equipped with Wireless Apple Carplay: You'll first need to pair your iPhone to the vehicle via Bluetooth. Once paired, a pop-up will appear asking if you would like to use CarPlay wirelessly. You should also get a notification on your iPhone asking if you would like to use CarPlay wirelessly. Select "Yes" for both notifications and you will then be able to use CarPlay wirelessly. Once you've made the initial bluetooth connection, your mobile device should connect seamlessly with your infotainment system as long as it is running the latest version of the Apple IOS when you enter your vehicle. If you are having trouble accessing Wireless Apple CarPlay, please toggle your Wi-Fi off and then back on from your mobile device. Wireless Apple CarPlay will be limited if you are using other Wi-Fi related features within your vehicle at the same time. In order to keep enjoying Apple CarPlay, while utilizing another Wi-Fi related feature (System Update or NissanConnect with Wi-Fi Hotspot), please plug your device directly into the USB1 port included in your vehicle. For vehicles NOT equipped with Wireless Carplay: You'll need to plug in an Apple-certified USB cable to the USB1 port.
If your BLE logic only spans a single screen or Activity, and your needs are incredibly straightforward, you may opt to do something easy like waiting for your onCharacteristicWrite() to succeed before performing another BLE operation. However, this is not scalable at all, especially considering all BLE operations (descriptor read/write, characteristic read/write, connecting, disconnecting, performing MTU update requests, service discovery, etc.) have to ideally wait for a prior BLE operation to either succeed or fail first before they should be performed.
@cate2020 it's something to do with the microphone because when you disable the mic connected to the bluetooth, you can hear everything as long as you dont use the "hands free ag audio". i dont knoow the specifics though
The ability to connect a tablet to an external display and have it actually work how it's supposed to is a huge boost for my productivity. I was able to have apps like Slack and iCloud email open on the Pro 8's screen, while writing in iA Writer on the larger external monitor with multiple Edge tabs open.
